Year 6 - RE this term

Dear Parents/Carers,  

                                In Religious Education this term, we will be looking at what religions say to us when life gets hard and how belief helps some people.  This investigation will enable pupils to learn from different religions and spiritual ways of life about how they support people during hard times, focusing on exploring death.  The unit’s aim is to raise thoughtful questions and suggest some answers about life, death, suffering, and what matters most in life.   

We realise that this is an important and sensitive area of learning, and we will encourage the children to discuss their learning and their thoughts with you when they come home.
