Additional Music Tuition

Additional Music Tuition at Warmsworth Primary School 

We provide additional peripatetic music lessons with specialist music teachers as part of our core offer for all children who wish to take this up from Year 2 to Year 6, free of charge. We believe that music is a powerful form of expression and all children should have the opportunity to explore this. We are currently offering our children the opportunity to learn a brass instrument, woodwind instrument or guitar and we have a thiving Warmsworth Band too, made up of these talented musicians.

Autumn term 2021 Update:

We are delighted that so many children have taken up the opportunity to learn a musical instrument in school this term – we now have a huge total of 132 musicians – 59 of whom are new starters this term. We offer this opportunity to all children in years 3 to 6, free of charge, as we believe it is very important for children to be exposed to a wide range of subjects for them to explore and succeed.

Our Warmsworth Band is also up and running and will be performing to the children in assembly soon after the half-term break. Being a member of the Warmsworth Band is free of charge and all children, who have been learning their instrument in school for at least one term, are welcome to come along every Wednesday from 3.15pm to 4pm.
