Year 3 - Science: What do we already know about the human body? 16.6.22

Date: 16th Jun 2022 @ 4:04pm

Before we start our new science topic, we have reviewed our previous learning from Year 1 about the different parts of the human body and our five senses. We annotated diagrams of both the outside and inside of a body with as many parts as we could name. We moved on to read and spell scientific vocabulary linking to our new topic. After identifying those words we were familiar and unfamiliar with, we worked in groups to put the words into context and identify some of these parts on our own bodies such as our ribs and muscles. We are excited to learn more about the human body, and we will know the scientific names for the parts of our bodies and our skeletons by the end of the unit!
