Year 3 - Art and PE 18.7.22

Year 3 have been keeping cool at school today to stay safe in the hot weather. They have been fantastic at having regular drinks of water, reapplying suncream and wearing their caps to protect their faces. Although it is certainly harder to concentrate in the heat, Year 3 have been working hard this morning in maths to add and subtract mass, in English to proofread and edit mistakes in writing, in reading to answer retrieval questions on the penultimate chapter of 'Boy Giant', and in their homework spelling test on homophones. 

This afternoon, Year 3 have worked with Mr Halstead in PE to design their ultimate 'Sport Monsters' (in the shade of the hall) and Mrs Hewitt in Art to finish off their sketching and printing projects.
