Funny Bones in F2

This week we have introduced a new focus text into the F2 learning - Funny Bones.

The children have been learning all about the skeleton and labelling parts of the body.

In Maths we have been continuing our exploration of sorting rules - the children have created their own sorting rules and we also sorted our classes into various different groups.

Finally this week the Wednesday weather was kind to us and we had our first Welly Wednesday adventure into the school grounds and poly-tunnel. The children gathered produce and brought it back to the classroom to explore - there were pumpkins, cucumbers, tomatoes and even a few cucamelons. Yes, cucamelons. 

All the children have continued to participate in active learning during provision times - playing, exploring and being creative. It is great to see their confidence growing and lots of big smiles every morning.
