Year 1 History - exploring artefacts - 18.3.22

Year 1 enjoyed our practical history session today - and on Red Nose Day (Comic relief) too!

We observed and handled a variety of areftefacts that were used in homes in the past - metal iron, carpet beater, hot water bottle, chamber pot, washing items (dolly, wash board) etc.

Some of us weren't sure what some of the items were used for and we were all shocked that the 'cup' was actually a pot for having a wee in at night time!
