NSPCC Number Day - Friday 4th February 2022

Please see below a letter from Miss Gibson, our Maths Leader, about NSPCC Number Day:

On Friday 4th February 2022, we are taking part in the NSPCC Number Day to celebrate maths in our school and to raise funds for the NSPCC by inviting children to take part in ‘Dress up for Digits’.

Children can come to school on ‘Number Day’ wearing an item of ‘Maths-themed’ clothing – this could be an item of clothing with numbers on it, or you could choose to be more creative. A voluntary donation of £1.00 would be really appreciated by the NSPCC to support their work with children across the country.

If Friday is your child’s usual PE day, your child may come into school in any clothes suitable for PE, instead of their usual school PE kit.

Children will be celebrating Maths on this day and the teachers are busy planning special Maths events in their classrooms, to further excite and engage their class in the wonder of maths.

Please send any voluntary donations to school on ‘Number Day’ (Friday 4th February 2022) and these contributions will be collected in a container within the classroom and then collated as a whole school total.

We look forward to making this a fantastic day for the children and hope to raise lots of money for the NSPCC.
