Year 5 Samba music 4.5.22

In year 5, we are developing our skills in music by gaining a better understanding of rhythm and notation. We applied this knowledge this week to learning Samba rythms, using a variety of percussion instruments. We have linked our learning  in music with Geography, and we are exploring the music performed in Brazil's Carnivals. Year 5 hope to be able to show what they have learnt at our next parent session where we aim to bring a taste of 'Carnival', here at Warmswortth.
