Year 3 - D&T project: Making 3-D shapes 13.7.22

Year 3 have enjoyed making 3-D shapes with Mr Burdon as part of their Design & Technology project. They have applied their learning in maths about the properties of 3-D shapes to building these with a variety of modelling materials. These had to be assembled to maintain straight lines and to create the vertices, edges and faces needed for the 3-D shapes. The children explored how their models could be made stronger, stiffer and more stable. Take a look at some of their hard work below:
