F2 To Infinity and Beyond

F2's half term topic is 'To Infinity and Beyond'; this half term we will be learning all about both Earth and Space, with a creative focus on aliens and external life forms. So far we have explored the Claire Freedman and Ben Cort storybook, 'Aliens Love Underpants', and have all designed and labelled an alien, with some very crazy and wacky features. 

Additional to classroom learning, some brilliant craft and roleplay has been carried out in the indoor and outdoor provision areas. Here are some photographs to show you what we have been up to so far this half term. 

We have been using our creative skills to design our own aliens to make out of plasticine. 

In outdoor learning the children have indepdently built their own spaceships and rockets; telling their own stories of their visit to the different planets in our solar system.
