F2 Fire Visit

We all enjoyed our visit off the fire service last week. We had a talk about how to stay safe on Bonfire Night, how firefighters stay safe and what a firefighter’s job is.

It was very exciting hearing about the different tools on a fire engine, the scissors are very big to rescue people! We all got to sit in the fire engine and have a go at squirting the hose.

We have followed up the learning in the different areas of learning both indoors and outdoors. For example, we have been drawing the different people who help us and talking about how they help us.

We used pastels to create firework pictures, reliving our experiences. We shared what we saw, heard and how we made sure we stayed safe on Bonfire Night, just like the firefighting team told us!
